The food processing needs the steam or hot water to assist the production and improve the efficiency. Usually, the food plant needs the small tonnage boiler, so the coal-fired boiler is not recommended.
1. Steam quantity. The food processing needs a large amount of steam to conduct water separation, disinfection and drying on the food, so the food plant should confirm the coal-fired boiler capacity according to the production capacity of the plant.
2. Pollutant emission. The coal-fired boiler has high pollution and is gradually replaced by the gas-fired or biomass-fired boiler with the aggravation of environmental pollution in recent years. However, the coal-fired boiler in some areas can still be used as long as it can meet the emission standards for exhaust gas temperature, dust removal and desulfurization equipment, NOx and so on.
3. Equipment condition. The food plant should check if various parts of the coal-fired boiler are in good condition, such as the boiler proper, boiler accessories, valves, and ensure the water supply which meets the relevant standards.
