In order to meet the increased energy demand of new plant and realize the cascade utilization of energy, BMW Brilliance planned to adopt the natural gas distributed energy resource triple generation mode with higher energy efficiency to provide the required heat, cooling and electrical load for the plant. In this project, gas-fired boilers were used as basic supporting facilities for production technology, heating and domestic hot water, but the heat load fluctuated greatly, which put strict requirements on the boiler performance. Meanwhile, as the first natural gas distributed energy resource triple generation project in Northeast China, any link must be implemented in place, so gas-fired boilers are no exception.

Based on the existing thermal load analysis, BMW Brilliance determined that it would build 8 sets of gas-fired hot water boilers with a total load of 100 MW in the first phase, and 2 sets of standby boilers with a total load of 50 MW in the second phase. Through the fierce competition, ZOZEN Boiler successfully won the bidding and was fully responsible for the boiler design, manufacture and installation in this project.

ZOZEN perfectly completed the supply of 10 sets of gas-fired hot water boilers

BMW Brilliance’s Tiexi new plant all used ZOZEN WNS series gas-fired fire tube boilers in the first phase. The boiler is packaged for delivery and has a small covering area, which can effectively shorten the installation cycle and save the boiler procurement costs. The boiler also adopts the large-diameter corrugated furnace and high-efficiency heat transfer component threaded smoke tube. The economizer and condenser at the boiler tail can effectively enhance the boiler thermal efficiency. At the same time, the boiler also applies low-NOx combustion technology to make boiler emissions meet the environmental protection standards.

It is worth mentioning that there were 5 sets of 17.5 MW WNS series gas-fired hot water boilers in the first phase of this project. It proved that ZOZEN Boiler with advanced processing equipment and top-notch design level had the production conditions for large-tonnage WNS series boilers. ZOZEN had completed the production and delivery of 8 sets of boilers in just 2 months, which won sufficient time for the start of BMW Brilliance’s distributed energy resource project.

So far, in the first phase of BMW Brilliance’s Tiexi new plant project, ZOZEN WNS series gas-fired boilers had been installed and debugged and also had been in stable operation for three months. The two sets of ZOZEN SZS series gas-fired boilers in the second phase had also arrived at the plant.
