Hangzhou Oleochemicals Co., Ltd., a long-established manufacturer in China’s oleochemical sector, has strengthened its production capabilities by introducing a 15 Tons DHL series coal-fired steam boiler from ZOZEN Boiler for its Indonesian subsidiary, PT. DUA KUDA INDONESIA. As the company expanded and upgraded its local production lines, a stable, high-capacity steam supply became essential for supporting key processes such as pretreatment, hydrogenation, decomposition, and distillation. To meet the production needs of the Indonesian plant, ZOZEN supplied a customized 15 Tons DHL series coal-fired steam boiler featuring an external drum design and a field-erected structure. This configuration incorporates advantages similar to a corner-tube boiler, including a compact arrangement, reduced steel usage, and rapid temperature rise. These characteristics help ensure fast response during load changes, which is especially valuable in oleochemical plants where process continuity is critical. The furnace adopts a front and back arch covered structure: a refractory concrete front arch at the lower section of the front wall functions as the fire arch, while the rear arch serves as the ignition arch. Together, these structural elements stabilize flame development and promote efficient fuel combustion.

 

Beyond structural optimization, the 15 Tons DHL series coal-fired steam boiler integrates multiple combustion-enhancing technologies. The system applies isobaric warehouse air supply to maintain consistent air pressure, while fine-tuned micro-area air distribution enables precise control over airflow across the furnace. Combined with a wide coal-adaptable arch design, these features improve fuel–air mixing, increase furnace temperature, and enhance overall combustion efficiency. For oleochemical processes where stable thermal conditions directly influence reaction performance and product yields, these improvements provide a solid foundation for reliable operation.

 

ZOZEN further strengthened energy utilization through the application of fully sealed membrane water wall structures around the boiler body and the internal partition walls. This design minimizes heat loss, increases the heat-absorbing surface area, and ensures uniform furnace temperatures. As a result, the 15 Tons DHL series coal-fired steam boiler can achieve thermal efficiency above 82%, supporting both energy conservation and stable heat supply for the plant’s upgraded production lines.
