Baheer Group, a major corrugated paper manufacturer established in 1997, upgraded its steam supply system by adopting a 15 tph coal-fired chain grate steam boiler from ZOZEN Boiler to support its rapidly expanding production and printing lines. With the company’s output increasing year by year, its previous heating equipment could no longer deliver the continuous, stable steam essential for corrugation forming, drying, and printing. To maintain product quality and ensure uninterrupted operations, Baheer Group sought a high-efficiency, environmentally compliant solution—ultimately choosing the 15 tph coal-fired chain grate steam boiler as the most suitable option.

As Baheer Group’s production capacity grew, the insufficiency of its old steam system led to issues such as fluctuating steam pressure, reduced thermal stability, and inconsistent heating. Corrugated paper manufacturing requires tightly controlled temperature and humidity; even minor deviations can directly affect bonding strength, corrugation uniformity, and surface smoothness. To address these challenges, the new steam system needed not only higher output but also strong combustion performance and long-term operational stability. The 15 tph coal-fired chain grate steam boiler met these technical demands by delivering a sustained steam supply aligned with the requirements of high-speed corrugator and printing equipment.
To ensure reliable and efficient operation, ZOZEN customized the technical configuration of the 15 tph coal-fired chain grate steam boiler after conducting a detailed assessment of Baheer Group’s coal characteristics. The engineering team optimized the furnace arch structure, refined the furnace geometry, and adjusted the heating surface layout to promote improved heat absorption. At the same time, ZOZEN recalibrated the primary–secondary air ratio and redesigned the secondary air distribution to enhance air–fuel mixing. These adjustments strengthen combustion stability, increase burnout efficiency, and enable the 15 tph coal-fired chain grate steam boiler to maintain high thermal performance under continuous, high-load operation.
Given Baheer Group’s focus on environmental compliance, emission control was another critical component of the overall solution. To meet local environmental standards, ZOZEN provided a tailored flue gas treatment system for the 15 tph coal-fired chain grate steam boiler, incorporating a cyclone separator and wet scrubber. Through multi-stage separation and washing, dust removal efficiency exceeds 98%, and desulfurization efficiency surpasses 85%. This ensures that particulate emissions remain below 250 mg/Nm³ and Ringelmann smoke levels stay under Grade 1. The system successfully passed environmental inspections organized by the Afghan authorities, confirming its compliance with regional emission requirements.
Since being commissioned, the 15 tph coal-fired chain grate steam boiler has consistently delivered stable steam to Baheer Group’s corrugated paper production and printing lines. The improved combustion efficiency and optimized heat exchange have enhanced product uniformity, reduced the risk of production interruptions, and lowered fuel consumption. These operational gains further strengthen Baheer Group’s competitiveness in the corrugated packaging market.
Overall, the cooperation between Baheer Group and ZOZEN Boiler demonstrates how a well-designed 15 tph coal-fired chain grate steam boiler can effectively address the dual demands of production expansion and environmental responsibility. By providing a customized and dependable steam solution, ZOZEN has supported the enterprise in achieving higher efficiency, greater stability, and more sustainable development within the corrugated paper industry.
